Big Fish Productions

In 2002, Mr. John Muharemi, a lifetime marine enthusiast, began filming his extensive game fishing and diving trips so that he could share his experiences with family and friends. His hobby and passion for the sea turned into a project which was to become Big Fish Productions.

The company began producing and distributing DVD titles with topics covering shipwreck diving, artificial reefs, game fishing, dolphin encounters and educational themes. These were sold in tourist gift stores and dive centres around New Zealand.

By 2006, the Big Fish Productions' collection had grown to encompass 10 marine DVDs as well as travel & scenic DVD titles. Furthermore, the company developed the innovative DVD Postcard range which was successfully launched and tested in late 2007. In 2008, we completed our offer with the introduction of the new LCD touchscreen interactive digital merchandise display. In combination with our extensive range of titles, the visually attractive displays have had a nearly 100% uptake rate with retailers.
